Den \u00e4r s\u00f6t, het och syrlig i en njutbar kombination.<br \/>\n1 kg rabarber<br \/>\n400 gr socker (inte syltsocker)<br \/>\n1 msk grovmald kardemumma (g\u00e4rna mortlad)<br \/>\n3 torkade Hot lemon chili (eller annan chili f\u00e4rsk alt torkad)<br \/>\nsaft av en citron<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sk\u00e4r rabarbern i tunna slantar, mortla kardemumman, klipp chilin i sm\u00e5 bitar.<\/li>\n<li>Blanda samman sockret och \u00f6vriga ingredienser i en stor kastrull, pressa citronen \u00f6ver blandningen och l\u00e5t allt st\u00e5 n\u00e5gra timmer s\u00e5 att sockret l\u00f6ser sig. Det kan g\u00e4rna st\u00e5 \u00f6vernatten.<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e4tt kastrullen p\u00e5 l\u00e5g v\u00e4rme och l\u00e5t det sakta koka upp (jag anv\u00e4nde steg 4 p\u00e5 mitt 12 steniga vred). L\u00e5t det sedan st\u00e5 och sm\u00e5koka p\u00e5 denna l\u00e5ga v\u00e4rme till du har en sl\u00e4t tr\u00f6gflytande massa.<\/li>\n<li>Fyll rena burkar med marmeladen medan den \u00e4r het och f\u00f6rslut burkarna. Denna sats ger ca 750 ml f\u00e4rdig marmelad.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Jag har medvetet l\u00e5tit bli att anv\u00e4nda det numer allenar\u00e5dande syltsockret jag ville g\u00f6ra p\u00e5 ett lite \u00e4ldre vis genom att koka marmeladen kr\u00e4mig. Det beh\u00f6vs inte gelatinmedel och extra pektin. Denna marmelad \u00e4r f\u00f6rsvinnande god om man \u00e4r f\u00f6rtjust i det lite hetare p\u00e5 mackan.
